Beyoncé leads the pack with nine nominations.

Australian artists have scored a handful of nods in the nominations for The 59th Grammy Awards, announced overnight.

After winning eight ARIA Awards in 2016, Flume has scored his first ever Grammys nominations.  The Sydney electronic artist has been nominated for Best Dance Recording for ‘Never Be Like You’, which features Canadian artist Kai, and Best Dance/Electronic Album for Skin.

2016 ARIA Best Female Artist winner Sia has been nominated for three awards: Best Pop Vocal Album for This Is Acting, Best Pop Duo with Sean Paul for ‘Cheap Thrills’ and Best Song Written For Visual Media for ‘Trying Anything’ from the Zootopia soundtrack.

Keith Urban, who was nominated for Song Of The Year at this year’s ARIAs for ‘The Fighter’, has been nominated for three awards. The single ‘Blue Ain't Your Color’, has received nominations in both the Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song categories. Urban's ninth album Ripcord has been nominated for Best Country Album.

Sydney Christian music group, Hillsong Young & Freehave been nominated in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album category for Youth Revival (Live).

Beyoncé leads this year’s nominations with nine including Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year for ‘Formation’ and Album Of The Year for Lemonade.

Drake, Rihanna and Kanye West each scored eight nominations.

The Grammys will be held in Los Angeles on February 12.
