Will Disturbed and Gnash hold on for another week?

On last week’s ARIA Charts, Gnash notched up his second straight week at the top of the Singles Chart with ‘I Hate U, I Love U’. On the Albums Chart, American band Disturbed returned to #1 for a second week with Immortalized.

Will this week see new #1s on the ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the titles that could make an impact on this week’s chart.

ALBUMs

With the surprise release of Lemonade, Beyonce will be looking for her second consecutive #1 on the Albums Chart; ahead of her appearance at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, Dami Im pays tribute to American duo The Carpenters with third album Classic Carpenters; ARIA Hall OF Famer Paul Kelly pays tribute to Shakespeare on Seven Sonnets And A Song; American rapper A$AP Ferg could pick up his first top 50 appearance with Always Strive And Prosper; Melbourne’s Camp Cope could crack the top 50 with their self-titled debut.

Following the passing of the legendary Prince, a raft of his albums could figure in this week’s top 50 including Purple Rain, The Hits / The B-Sides, Ultimate, The Very Best Of, HITNRUN Phase One, The Hits 1, Diamonds And Pearls, Sign "O" The Times, Art Official Age and 1999.

Singles

Ahead of the release of Skin in May, Flume could be set to pick up another Singles Chart entry, this time with the Tove Lo collaboration ‘Say It’; Swedish duo Galantis will be looking for a third top 50 entry with ‘No Money’.

This week’s Prince resurgence won’t just be confined to the Albums Chart. Tracks likely to reappear in top 50 include ‘Purple Rain’, ‘When Doves Cry’, ‘Little Red Corvette’, ‘Kiss’, ‘1999’, ‘Cream’, ‘Raspberry Beret’, ‘Let's Go Crazy’ and ‘Diamonds And Pearls’.

The weekly ARIA Charts announcement happens every Saturday at 6pm.
