Despacito hits tenth week at #1

Big moves for Jessica Mauboy, Macklemore, Sam Hunt and more!

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee have racked up their tenth straight week at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with their Justin Bieber-featured single ‘Despacito’. The track has also held #1 for ten consecutive weeks in the US.

After three weeks lower down the top five, ‘Strip That Down’ returns to its previous peak of #2. It’s the single’s ninth week in the top 50.

On the back of a week of heavy promo, Jessica Mauboy’s ‘Fallin’’ jumps 14 spots to a new peak of #11. The track is Mauboy’s 23rd appearance in the top 50 as a lead artist.

Returning to the top 50 last week, Macklemore’s ‘Glorious’ has climbed a further seven spots this week to #15, hitting the top 20 for the first time.

In its fifth week in the top 50, Sam Hunt’s ‘Body Like A Back Road’ moves up six spots to hit a new peak of #17.

This week’s Singles Chart also includes new peaks for Imagine Dragons’ ‘Thunder’ (#4), Jonas Blue’s ‘Mama’ (#7), French Montana’s ‘Unforgettable’ (#14), Major Lazer’s ‘Know No Better’ (#34), Peking Duk’s ‘Fake Magic’ (#37), Camila Cabello’s ‘Crying In The Club’ (#40) and Khalid’s ‘Locomotion’ (#41).

Debuts:

#23: Selena Gomez Feat. Gucci Mane ‘Fetish’ – Selena Gomez follows ‘Bad Liar’ (#13 Jul. ’17) with the Gucci Mane-featured track ‘Fetish’. It’s Gomez’s third top 50 appearance for the year, having peaked at #4 with Kygo and the track ‘It Ain’t Me’.

#31: Vance Joy ‘Lay It On Me’ – Vance Joy returns to the ARIA Singles Chart for the first time since 2015 with ‘Lay It On Me’. The Melbourne singer-songwriter last appeared on the chart with ‘Fire And The Flood’ (#6 Sept. ’15). He’ll be playing shows in Sydney and Melbourne in November to celebrate the new single’s release.

#35: Demi Lovato ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ – With her first top 50 appearance since ‘Confident’ (#35 Oct. ’15), Demi Lovato gives fans the first taste of her forthcoming sixth studio album. ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ also becomes Lovato’s sixth top 50 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
