Eagles - Long Road Out Of Eden

American rock band Eagles took out their only #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart when their seventh studio album Long Road Out Of Eden spent six non-consecutive weeks in the top spot in late 2007. The group’s first studio album since 1979’s The Long Run debuted at #1 at the beginning of November and went on to spend six of the last nine weeks of 2007 at the top of the charts.

The Eagles’ only studio album release since reforming in 1994, Long Road Out Of Eden spent ten weeks in the top ten and 22 weeks in the top 50. It was accredited 3x Platinum and charted at #8 on the 2007 ARIA End Of Year Albums Chart.

Prior to the advent of the ARIA Charts, the Eagles topped the Australian Albums Chart with Hotel California and The Long Run. They last scored a debut on the ARIA Charts with Selected Works: 1972-1999 (#11 Sept. ’14).


Single

The Veronicas - Hook Me Up

Brisbane duo The Veronicas took out the first of their three #1 singles to date on the ARIA Charts when ‘Hook Me Up’ held the top spot for one week in November 2007. The title track and first single from the album Hook Me Up (#2 Nov. ’07), the track debuted at #5 and hit #1 in its seventh week in the chart. In total, ‘Hook Me Up’ spent ten weeks in the Top Ten and 23 weeks in the Top 50.

Landing at #22 on the 2007 ARIA End Of Year Singles Chart, the single received a Platinum accreditation.

The Veronicas have also topped the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘You Ruin Me;’ (#1 Sept. ’14) and ‘In My Blood’ (#1 Jul. ’16). Their most recent chart appearance was with ‘The Only High’ (#41 Jun. ’17).
