Lukas Graham makes it five weeks at #1 with 7 Years

Debuts for Meghan Trainor, Ariana Grande, Zayn, Disturbed and more!

For the fifth straight week, Danish band Lukas Graham is #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with their track ‘7 Years’. It’s the same amount of time the group have spent at the top of the UK Singles Chart.

In its third week in the top 50, Alan Walker’s ‘Faded’ has jumped 12 spots to grab the #2 spot.

Fifth Harmony’s ‘Work From Home’ has moved up seven spots to give the girl group their second top ten and highest-charting, overtaking ‘Worth It’ (#9 Aug. ’15).

There have also been moves by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ ‘Dance Off’ (up five to #14), Yo Preston & Kelly Kiara’s ‘Love Yourself Vs F@*K Yourself’ (up 12 to #16), Mike Posner’s ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza’ (up four to #17) and Samantha Jade’s ‘Always’ (up eight to #28).

Debuts:

#20: Meghan Trainor ‘No’ – The first single to come from Meghan Trainor’s forthcoming second album Thank You. It’s Trainor’s first chart appearance since ‘Like I'm Gonna Lose You’ (#1 Jun. ’15).

#24: Ariana Grande ‘Dangerous Woman’ – The title track from Ariana Grande’s forthcoming third album. It’s the second track from Dangerous Woman to chart, following on from ‘Focus’ (#10 Nov. ’15).

#31: Zayn ‘Like I Would’ – Ahead of Mind Of Mine’s release next week, Zayn picks up a third charting solo single with ‘Like I Would’. It follows on from ‘Pillowtalk’ (#1 Feb. ‘16) and ‘It’s You’ (#38 Mar. ’16).

#32: Disturbed ‘The Sound Of Silence’ – American metal band Disturbed grab their second top 50 appearance with this, their cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘The Sound Of Silence’. The track originally featured on the album Immortalized (#1 Aug. ’15). The group’s first Singles Chart entry was with ‘Inside The Fire’ (#43 Jun. ’08).

#43: Alessia Cara ‘Wild Things’ – The second Singles Chart entry for Canadian Alessia Cara. Like ‘Here’ (#12 Jan. ’16), the new single comes from Cara’s debut album Know-It-All, which is new on the Albums Chart this week at #16.

#45: The Chainsmokers Feat. Daya ‘Don't Let Me Down’ – American DJ duo The Chainsmokers grab their third top 50 entry with ‘Don't Let Me Down’. The follow-up to ‘Roses’ (#5 Feb. ’16) features vocals by Daya, who has recently had solo success with the track ‘Hide Away’ (#7 Mar. ’16).
