Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

Contenders include Human Nature, Flume, Major Lazer and Illy.

There was new #1s on both the ARIA Singles and Albums Charts last week, with Katy Perry scoring her fourth #1 single with ‘Rise’ and pop punkers Good Charlotte picking up their second #1 album with Youth Authority.

Can Katy Perry and Good Charlotte stay at #1 or will ARIA Charts feature new chart-toppers?

Let’s take a look at some of this week’s contenders.


Human Nature will be on the hunt for their fourth #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with 13th album Gimme Some Lovin' (Jukebox Vol. II); American prog-metal band Periphery will be aiming for their fifth top 50 appearance with Periphery III: Select Difficulty; with their third album Retrograde, American hardcore band Crown The Empire could chart in the top 50 for the first time.

Albums that could make a move up the chart this week include Flume’s Skin, ScHoolboy Q’s Blank Face LP, Meghan Trainor’s Title, Jack Garratt’s Phase and Human Nature’s Jukebox.


Major Lazer could be set for their first Singles Chart appearance for 2016 with the Justin Bieber and MØ-featuring ‘Cold Water’; Swedish DJ/producer Mike Perry could make his top 50 debut with ‘The Ocean’; after topping the chart with ‘Fast Car’ (#1 Feb. ’16), Jonas Blue could return to the top 50 with ‘Perfect Strangers’.

Look out for moves up the Singles Chart this week for Illy’s ‘Papercuts’, Ariana Grande ‘Into You’, MØ’s ‘Final Song’, Sia’s ‘Cheap Thrills’ and Fergie’s ‘M.I.L.F. $’.
