Who’ll top the ARIA Charts this week?

Last week’s ARIA Charts saw Danes Lukas Graham make it a trio of weeks at #1 on the Singles Chart with ‘7 Years’, while Manchester rockers The 1975 picked up their first #1 on the Albums Chart with I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It.

Who’ll top the ARIA Charts this week?

Let’s check out some of this week’s contenders.

ALBUMS

Melbourne’s The Cat Empire will be hoping to pick up a fifth top ten on the Albums Chart with Rising With The Sun; After surprising everyone with its release last Friday, Kendrick Lamar could be in contention for a high debut for new release Untitled Unmastered.; Sydney pop-punkers Tonight Alive could pick up their second top ten with third album Limitless; Sydney rapper Urthboy returns with his first album in four years, The Past Beats Inside Me Like A Second Heartbeat; Swedish pop band Miike Snow look to pick up their second top 50 appearance with first album in four years, III; American singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne could grab his second top 50 appearance with sixth album Ouroboros.

Titles that could re-enter or move back up the Albums Chart this week include The Rubens’ Hoops, Meghan Trainor’s Title and Panic! At The Disco’s Death Of A Bachelor.

SINGLES

On this week’s Singles Chart, British girl group Little Mix could debut with their Jason Derulo collaboration ‘Secret Love Song’; As well as a possible debut on the Albums Chart, Miike Snow  could make their first appearance in the Singles Chart top 50 with ‘Genghis Khan’.

Among the tracks looking to make their move up the Singles Chart this week is Daya’s ‘Hide Away’, Fifth Harmony’s ‘Work From Home’, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ ‘Dance Off’, Mike Posner’s ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza’ and Taylor Swift’s ‘New Romantics’.
