The Traveling WIlburys - THE TRAVELING WILBURYS Collection

Supergroup The Traveling Wilburys took out their second #1 on the ARIA Charts when this career-spanning box set sat at the top of the Albums Chart for two weeks in June 2007. The set brought together both of the band’s albums – Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 (#1 Feb. ’89) and Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3 (#14 Nov. ’90) – as well as b-sides and rarities. It was the first time the band’s material had been available for many years, having been out of print.

The Traveling Wilburys Collecton spent ten weeks in the top ten and 21 weeks in the top 50. It was accredited 2x Platinum and landed at #17 on the 2007 ARIA End Of Year Albums Chart.

During their short lifespan as a group, The Traveling Wilburys experienced Singles Chart success with ‘Handle With Care’ (#3 Jan. ’89) and ‘End Of The Line’ (#12 Mar. ’89).

Rihanna Feat. Jay-Z - Umbrella

The second of Rihanna’s seven #1s to date on the ARIA Singles Chart as a lead artist came when ‘Umbrella’ spent six consecutive weeks in the top spot in June/July  2007. Released as the first single from the Barbadian artist’s third album Good Girl Gone Bad (#2 Jul. ’08), ‘Umbrella’ debuted at #1 at the beginning of June and remained there until the middle of July. The single spent a total of 13 weeks in the top ten and 32 weeks in the top 50.

‘Umbrella’ went on to be accredited 5x Platinum and was #3 on the 2007 ARIA End Of Year Singles Chart.

Rihanna had previously hit #1 with ‘SOS’ (#1 Apr. ’06) and went on to score #1s with ‘Don't Stop The Music’ (#1 Feb. ’08), ‘Rude Boy’ (#1 Mar. ’10), ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ (#1 Sept. ’10), ‘S&M’ (#1 Feb. ’11) and ‘FourFiveSeconds’ (#1 Feb. ’15). She’s also topped the chart as featured artist on Eminem’s ‘Love The Way You Lie’ (#1 Jul. ’10 and ‘The Monster’ (#1 Nov. ’13) and Calvin Harris’ ‘This Is What You Came For’ (#1 Jun. ’16).
