Week two at #1 for P!nk's What About Us

Debuts for Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and more!

P!nk holds the top spot on the ARIA Singles Chart for a second week with her ninth #1 single ‘What About Us’.

After jumping five spots last week, ‘New Rules’ has moved up a further five spots to #10 this week. It becomes Dua Lipa’s second top ten on the ARIA Singles Chart. She first hit the top ten with ‘Be The One’ (#6 May ’16).

In its sixth week in the top 50, ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ jumps up seven spots to #14 and becomes Demi Lovato’s highest peak to date on the ARIA Singles Chart, taking over from ‘Cool For The Summer’ (#20 Aug. ’15).

This week’s Singles Chart also includes new peaks for Avicii’s ‘Without You’ (up seven to #26), J Balvin & Willy William’s ‘Mi Gente’ (up three to #28) and Lauv’s ‘I Like Me Better’ (up eleven to #29).

Debuts:

#2: Justin Bieber & BloodPop® ‘Friends’ – Justin Bieber returns to the top entry as a lead artist for the first time since 2015 with ‘Friends’. Bieber’s eighth top ten single as a lead artist is a collaboration with American producer/songwriter BloodPop®.  BloodPop® previously collaborated with Bieber on several songs on the album Purpose (#1 Nov. ’15), including ‘Sorry’ (#2 Nov. ’15).

#44: Khalid ‘Young Dumb & Broke’ – American R&B artist Khalid takes out his second top 50 entry as a lead artist on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Young Dumb & Broke’. Like previous single ‘Location’ (#39 Aug. ’17), it comes from the 19 year old’s debut album American Teen (#19 Aug. ’17).

#49: Miley Cyrus ‘Younger Now’ – Miley Cyrus picks up her second top 50 entry for 2017 with the title track of her forthcoming sixth studio album. It’s the follow-up to the album’s lead single ‘Malibu’ (#3 May ’17).
