Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

July 26, 2017

Contenders include Lana Del Rey, Vera Blue, Tyler, The Creator and more.

There was no change at the top of the ARIA Charts last week. For the tenth week in a row Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee topped the Singles Chart with their Justin Bieber-featured single ‘Despacito’. On the Albums Chart, Ed Sheeran’s ÷ racked up its 17th week at #1.

Who could we see making an impact on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Let’s have a look at some of the likely debutants and movers.

ALBUMs

American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey will be aiming for her fourth #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with  Lust For Life; Sydney’s Celia Pavey could hit the ARIA top 50 for the first time under the Vera Blue moniker with the album Perennial; rapper Tyler, The Creator could score his third top 50 entry with fourth solo album Flower Boy; Californian metalcore band In This Moment could make their top 50 debut with sixth album Ritual; Nine Inch Nails release the second EP in a planned trilogy, Add Violence.

Following the passing of lead singer Chester Bennington, Linkin Park could re-enter the chart with Hybrid Theory, One More Light, Meteora, Minutes To Midnight, The Hunting Party, Living Things, A Thousand Suns, the live album Road To Revolution: Live At Milton Keynes and the collaboration with Jay-Z, Collision Course.

Singles

Former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson follows ‘Just Hold On’ (#20 Dec. ’16) with new single ‘Back To You’.

Look out for moves up this week’s Singles Chart by Imagine Dragons’ ‘Thunder’ and Macklemore’s ‘Glorious’.

Linkin Park could also figure heavily in the Singles Chart with possible re-entries from ‘In The End’, ‘Numb’, ‘What I've Done’, ‘Heavy’, ‘One Step Closer’, ‘Numb / Encore’, ‘Shadow Of The Day’ and ‘Somewhere I Belong’.

The weekly ARIA Charts announcement happens every Saturday at 5pm.
