Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

Contenders include the Fifty Shades Darker Soundtrack, Thundamentals, Adam Brand and more.

At the top of the ARIA Charts last week, Dune Rats scored their first #1 on the Albums Chart with ‘The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit’. On the Singles Chart, Ed Sheeran held #1 for a fifth consecutive week with ‘Shape Of You’.

Which artists will we see challenging for the prime positions on the ARIA Charts this week?

ALBUMS

The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the 2017 film Fifty Shades Darker could be set to take out the top spot on the ARIA Albums Chart this week; Australian hip hop group Thundamentals could pick up their highest debut yet with ‘Everyone We Know; Australian country musician, Adam Brand will be aiming for his third top five appearance with album ‘Get On Your Feet’; British singer and songwriter Rag'n'Bone Man could score his first ARIA Albums Chart appearance with ‘Human’; Australian hip hop artist Jay UF will also be making his ARIA Album Chart  debut with ‘Final Notice’; Sydney pop duo / Australian X-Factor Runners-up Jess Dunbar and Matt Price return with 'Belmont Street’ a 6 track event EP with 5 iconic Australian covers and one original (lead sync track for Sydney DNSW campaign); and American thrash metal band The Grinding Wheel  return with their  eighteenth studio album ‘Overkill’.

Look out for moves up the Albums Chart by Guns N' Roses’ ‘Greatest Hits’, ‘Use Your Illusion 1’ & ‘Use Your Illusion  II’ and Tash Sultana’s Notion.

SINGLES

Katy Perry could return to the top 50 for the first time since 2016 with new track ‘Chained To The Rhythm’ which features Skip Marley (grandson of legendary musician Bob Marley) and is co- produced by Max Martin (he produced major hits for artists such as the Backstreet Boys, Britney & NSYNC) and co-written by Sia.

Singles that could make their way up the chart this week include Jon Bellion’s ‘All Time Low’ and Tash Sultana’s ‘Jungle’.
