Gotye Scores 'Best Live Act' ARIA Award, Yothu Yindi Deliver Incredible Performance With Paul Kelly, Dan Sultan and Peter Garret

After a completely stunning performance by Missy Higgins the ARIA Awards moved from singer-songwriter sorrow to ‘Best Live Act’ which went to the exceptionally grateful and surprised Gotye.

Up next was an incredibly stirring performance by ‘ARIA Hall of Fame’ inductees Yothu Yindi. They were joined onstage by some of Australia’s most respected artists including Paul Kelly, Dan Sultan, Peter Garrett and Jessica Mauboy. Without out doubt, this was one of the most powerful performances in ARIA Awards history.

Peter Garrett and Paul Kelly then inducted the indigenous group into the ‘ARIA Hall of Fame’ with a powerful speech acknowledging their history and mind-blowing live shows.
