Swedish DJ Avicii holds on to the top spot again this week with Wake Me Up, which scores its fifth consecutive week at No.1. The last Swedish artist to achieve more consecutive weeks at the top was Roxette, who spent six weeks at No.1 with The Look (No.1 July ’89). However, if he equals Roxette next week Avicii will still have a long way to go to beat Swedish megastars ABBA. After performing at Splendour In The Grass as a last minute addition, New Zealand singer Lorde, moves in to the No.2 spot. Could Lorde be the act to stop Avicii’s run? Watch this place next week. The Love Club EP replaces OneRepublic’s Counting Stars which falls to No.3. US pop duo Karmin score their first ever top five hit with Acapella, moving four positions to No.4. The biggest rise this week comes from Imagine Dragon’s On Top Of The World, which jumped to No.23 this week after debuting at No.88 last week. It gives them their third top 50 appearance for the year and joins their previous single Radioactive, which is still riding high in the chart at No.9 this week.
