THIS WEEK IN ARIA CHART HISTORY

Welcome to a new feature of the ARIA Charts web site made especially for music fans looking for a blast from the past.

Each week ARIA steps back in time to see what songs and albums were charting in years gone by.

Do you remember when these songs and artists were topping the charts? Were they one-hit wonders or enduring classics?

Green Day make their debut into the charts across the globe, sparking the revival of punk-music.  Oasis head the Brit invasion off the back off their debut album and Korn unleash their self titled debut album, often to be consider the first of the nu-metal genre.  Kurt Cobain commited suicide on April 5, leaving behind his band Nirvana and wife and daughter - Courtney Love and Francis Bean.

The charts from this week in history feature some real classics that will bring you back to 1994. . .
