SINGLES

Love Yourself by Justin Bieber tops the ARIA Singles Chart for a seventh straight week. Lush Life jumps up four spots to No.4, making it one spot below the peak of Zara Larsson’s previous track Never Forget You reached last November. Ahead of the release of Charlie Puth’s debut album Nine Track Mind next week, One Call Away jumps twelve spots to sit just one spot outside the top ten. After debuting at No.26 last week, My Sunshine by Mashd N Kutcher jumps up eight spots to No.18 in its second week. It is the Brisbane duo’s second appearance in the top 50, following on from Do It Now (No.33 Feb. ’15).

No.10       NEVER BE LIKE YOU - Flume Feat. Kai.  The first new release by Flume for 2016 is a track from the ARIA Award-winning producer’s forthcoming second album Skin. It is Flume’s first Chart appearance since the Andrew Wyatt-featuring single Some Minds (No.27 June ’15).

No.56       STRESSED OUT - Twenty One Pilots.  American alternative hip hop band Twenty One Pilots, has hit a new high with their single Stressed Out. The single was released mid last year as an authentic cut of their fourth studio album Blurryface (No.11 May ’15). The single peaked at No.4 on the US Billboard Charts.

No.58       ME, MYSELF & I - G-Eazy Feat. Bebe Rexha.  American hip hop recording artist G-Eazy, has teamed up with fellow American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha to deliver Me, Myself & I. The single was released as the first cut from his second studio album When It's Dark Out (No.36 Dec. ’15) and was co-produced by Bebe Rexha, Christoph Andersson and Michael Keenan.

No.65       ALL I ASK - Adele.  The Chart dominating hit maker that is Adele, has once again graced the ARIA Singles Chart with her presence. All I Ask is a cut off her third studio album and current No.1, 25. The song was written by Adele, Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence and Christopher Brody Brown and has been widely agreed as a highlight off the album.

No.66       SAY A PRAYER FOR ME - RüFüS. Unveiling the fourth single Say A Prayer For Me from their new album Bloom (released last Friday), Australian alternative dance outfit RüFüS have made their first appearance on the ARIA Singles Chart for 2016. The trio have Charted recently with Innerbloom (No.65 Nov. ’15) Like An Animal (No.44 Nov. ’15) and You Were Right (No.22 Aug. ’15).The band has not announced many tour dates this year, but they are already getting tabbed for some pretty big festival dates having been booked to play Coachella in April and are joining Firefly Music Festival later in June.

No.73       THE SOUND - The 1975.  British alternative rock band out of Manchester, The 1975, have made their second appearance on the ARIA Singles Chart. The Sound is taken off their forthcoming second album I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It, due out in February. The four piece last Charted with Love Me (No.35 Oct. ’15).

No.87       MY HOUSE - Flo Rida.  Extended play number four for American rapper Flo Rida. The new EP marks Flo Rida's first release to feature original material since Wild Ones (No.5 July ’12). My House precedes the release of Flo Rida's fifth studio album, The Perfect 10, due out later this year.

No.91       MONSTER - Kanye West Feat. Jay-Z, Bon Iver, Rick Ross & Nicki Minaj.  Debuting almost six years after its initial release date, the self-proclaimed king and conqueror of hip-hop Kanye West, has once again entered the ARIA Singles Chart. Monster marks one of the most diverse collaborations in the rappers career with writing credits going to not only West but Jay-Z, Bon Iver, Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj. The music video had several references to horror films and featured extensive horror imagery, with zombies, decapitated corpses and heavily atmospheric cinematography. The accompanying video was widely controversial and ultimately ended up being banned from MTV, mainly for its criticism on its negative sexual portrayal of women.

ALBUMS

After dropping to No.2 last week, Adele returns to No.1 with 25. It is the album’s eighth week at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart. The fifth studio album from American act Panic! At The Disco becomes their third to crack the top ten on the ARIA Albums Chart. The follow-up to Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! (No.26 Oct. ’13), Death Of A Bachelor is the first Panic! At The Disco album to feature Brendon Urie as the sole member. A sales surge for the Eagles this week following the passing of founding member Glenn Frey on January 18 at the age of 67. The Greatest Hits re-enters at No.14 along with Selected Works: 1972-1999 at No.35.

No.3         DEATH OF A BACHELOR - Panic! At The Disco.  Studio album number five for American rock outfit Panic! At the Disco and their first time in the ARIA Albums Top 10 since Vices & Virtues (No.6 Mar. ’11).  It is the band's first album to not feature drummer Spencer Smith and also follows bassist Dallon Weekes' departure from the official line-up, subsequently becoming a touring member once again. The band picked up a No.1 in April 2008 with Pretty. Odd.

No.11       BROTHERS NEVER PART - Brothers3.  The ARIA Albums Chart debut for Mudgee trio Brothers3. Brothers Never Part is the major label debut from Makirum, Tayzin and Shardyn Fahey-Leigh, who took out third place in the 2014 season of X Factor.

No.26       NOT TO DISAPPEAR - Daughter. Album two from British indie-folk band Daughter, becomes their highest peak on the ARIA Albums Chart. The group’s debut, If You Leave, spent one week at No.50 in March 2013.

No.36       LET IT ECHO - Jesus Culture.  Formed at the Bethel Church of Redding in California, the Christian Revivalist youth outreach ministry that is Jesus Culture makes their first appearance on the ARIA Albums Chart. This live album from the youth group has been well received in the local and international Christian community.

No.68       LOVE STUFF - Elle King.  The debut studio album from American singer-songwriter Elle King, has earned her a spot on the ARIA Albums Chart. Love Stuff was preceded by its lead single Ex's & Oh's, which was released on September 23, 2014 and is currently at No.5 on the ARIA Singles Chart.

No.71       CAUGHT UP IN THE DREAMING - Luke O'Shea.  This is the sixth studio album from Australian singer/storyteller/songwriter Luke O’Shea and his first appearance on the ARIA Albums Chart. Caught Up In The Dreaming draws inspiration from the unique and everyday characters he meets, allowing him to spin authentic tales that hit home for the average Australian. O’Shea will be touring our great southern land over the next few months in support of the album.

No.91       A REALITY TOUR - David Bowie.  As the reign of the late great David Bowie comes to a close, the live album A Reality Tour makes its first appearance on the ARIA Albums Chart, exactly six years after its initial release. The album features both November 2003 performances in Dublin during his concert tour. Bowie’s final album Blackstar comes in at No.2 this week after its No.1 debut last week.
