Big moves for Dua Lipa, Logic, Vance Joy and more!

Returning with his first new music since 2015, English artist Sam Smith has claimed his first ever #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ (see below for more).

After spending two weeks at #6, ‘New Rules’ moves up two spots to #4, giving Dua Lipa a new ARIA Singles Chart peak.

The chart climb of Logic’s ‘1-800-273-8255’ continues. After jumping 20 places last week, it’s up a further seven this week. The track’s first week in the top ten comes in its sixth week in the top 50.

In its ninth week in the top 50, Vance Joy’s ‘Lay It On Me’ climbs another seven spots to score a new peak at #18.

This week’s Singles Chart also includes new peaks for Khalid’s ‘Young Dumb & Broke’ (#20), Maroon 5’s ‘What Lovers Do’ (#28), Portugal. The Man’s ‘Feel It Still’ (#35) and Axwell & Ingrosso’s ‘More Than You Know’ (#41).

#1: Sam Smith ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ – With his first single since 2015, English singer-songwriter Sam Smith notches up his first #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ is the first track released from Smith’s forthcoming second album, the follow-up to In The Lonely Hour (#1 Apr. ’15). He’s previously hit the top ten with ‘Stay With Me’ (#5 Jun. ’14) and ‘Lay Me Down’ (#3 Mar. ’15). Sam Smith last charted with ‘Writing's On The Wall’ (#43 Nov. ’15), the theme to the James Bond film Spectre.

#8: Zayn Feat. Sia ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ – Featuring vocals from Sia, ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ is the second track released from Zayn’s forthcoming second album. The follow-up to ‘Still Got Game’ (#20 Apr. ’17) becomes the former One Direction member’s second solo top ten entry after ‘Pillowtalk’ (#1 Feb. ’16). He’s also hit the top ten with the duet with Taylor Swift ‘I Don't Wanna Live Forever’ (#3 Dec. ’16).

#50: Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso Feat. Florida Georgia Line & watt ‘Let Me Go’ – American artist Hailee Steinfeld picks up a second top 50 entry for 2017 with the Alesso collaboration ‘Let Me Go’. Hitting the chart a month after ‘Most Girls’ (#18 Aug. ’17) reached its peak, ‘Let Me Go’ also features contributions from American country music duo Florida Georgia Line and American singer-songwriter Andrew Watt.
