Shape Of You makes it 12 weeks at #1

Debuts for Zayn, Kendrick Lamar and more!

‘Shape Of You’ by Ed Sheeran maintains its spot at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a twelfth consecutive week. The last single to hold #1 for 12 straight weeks was Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ in 2002/03. Sheeran has eight tracks in total in this week’s top 50.

Moving up one spot from last week to #3, ‘Stay’ gives Zedd his first appearance in the top three on the ARIA Singles Chart.

In its second week in the top 50, Drake’s ‘Passionfruit’ jumps up 12 spots to #4. It becomes the Canadian rapper’s sixth top ten single, the first since ‘Too Good’ (#3 Jun. ’16).

A week on from debuting at #42, Clean Bandit’s ‘Symphony’ moves up the chart 24 spots to #18.

#21: Zayn Feat. Partynextdoor ‘Still Got Time’ – Former One Direction member Zayn scores his fifth solo entry on the ARIA top 50 with ‘Still Got Time’. Featuring Canadian rapper Partynextdoor, the track is the first to be released from Zayn’s forthcoming second album. His duet with Taylor Swift, ‘I Don't Wanna Live Forever’, sits at #19 on this week’s chart.

#29: David Guetta Feat. Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne ‘Light My Body Up’ – French producer David Guetta picks up his first solo top 50 entry since ‘Bang My Head’ (#21 Dec. ’15) with ‘Light My Body Up’. The track marks Guetta’s fourth single with Nicki Minaj, following on from ‘Where Them Girls At’ (#6 May ’11), ‘Turn Me On’ (#3 Jan. ‘12) and ‘Hey Mama’ (#5 May ’15). Lil Wayne previously featured on the Guetta track ‘I Can Only Imagine’ (#47 May ’12). Guetta recently collaborated with Robin Schulz on ‘Shed A Light’ (#23 Jan. ’17).

#32: Future ‘Mask Off’ – After peaking at #39 earlier in March with ‘Selfish’, American rapper Future grabs a new ARIA Singles Chart peak with ‘Mask Off’. It comes from Future’s self-titled fifth album (#42 Feb. ’17).

#35: Kendrick Lamar ‘The Heart Part 4’ – ‘The Heart Part 4’ gives American rapper Kendrick Lamar a third entry in the ARIA top 50 and the first since ‘King Kunta’ (#32 Feb. ’16). The track is the first from Lamar’s forthcoming fourth studio album, rumoured to be released on 7 April.
