Debuts for Jessica Mauboy, Drake and more!

It’s week seven at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s Justin Bieber-featured track ‘Despacito’. The track also holds #1 in the US for a seventh week in a row.

With DJ Khaled’s tenth album Grateful debuting at #7 on this week’s Albums Chart, ‘Wild Thoughts’ jumps two spots to grab a new peak at #2. The American artist’s former #1 ‘I’m The One’ (#1 May ’17) has moved back up one spot to #4.

Moving up four spots from last week to #7, Jonas Blue’s ‘Mama’ gives the British producer his third top ten on the ARIA Singles Chart. He’s previously hit the top ten with ‘Fast Car’ (#1 Feb. ’16) and ‘Perfect Strangers’ (#6 Aug. ’16).

‘Attention’ becomes Charlie Puth’s fourth top ten single as a lead artist with its move up two places to #10. His highest lead peak to date was with ‘One Call Away’ (#3 Feb. ’16).

As Imagine Dragons debut at #4 on the Albums Chart with third album Evolve, ‘Thunder’ moves up seven spots to claim a new peak at #12.

This week’s Singles Chart also includes new peaks for Rita Ora’s ‘Your Song’ (#16), French Montana’s ‘Unforgettable’ (#21), Maggie Lindemann’s ‘Pretty Girl’ (#22), Calvin Harris’ ‘Feels’ (#26), Post Malone’s ‘Congratulations’ (#31) and Sam Hunt’s ‘Body Like A Back Road’ (#48).

Debuts:

#20: Jessica Mauboy ‘Fallin’’ – Jessica Mauboy hits the ARIA top 50 for the first time in 2017 with ‘Fallin’’. Mauboy’s first single since ‘Wake Me Up’ (#34 Oct. ’16) ‘Fallin’’ was written for the second series of the TV series The Secret Daughter, in which Mauboy stars. It’s her 23rd appearance in the top 50 as a lead artist.

#39: Drake ‘Signs’ – Canadian rapper Drake scores his second chart entry for 2017 with ‘Signs’. The follow-up to ‘Passionfruit’ (#4 Apr. ’17) was premiered during French fashion house Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring-Summer 2018 Fashion Show in Paris.

#43: Khalid ‘Location’ – R&B artist Khalid scores his first track as lead artist in top 50 with ‘Location’. It comes in the same week the American singer-songwriter’s debut album, American Teen, hits the Albums Chart top 50 for the first time at #42. Khalid has charted as a featured artist on the Calvin Harris track ‘Rollin’ (#40 May ’17).
