Drake's fifth album Scorpion could put the Canadian rapper in elite company on the ARIA Charts

Drake could be set for ARIA Chart domination this week, with his new album Scorpion destined to make a big impact across both the ARIA Singles and Albums Chart.

The Canadian rapper could nab his second #1 on the Albums Chart with fifth album, Scorpion - however, it’s his Singles Chart appearances that are really going to place him in elite company!

This week, the rapper could feature with 12 tracks within the Top 50, with nine of those being debuts including ‘Nonstop’, ‘Don't Matter To Me’, ‘Emotionless’, ‘In My Feelings’, ‘8 Out Of 10’, ‘Mob Ties’, ‘Talk Up’, ‘Can't Take A Joke’ and ‘Summer Games’.  The only other time in ARIA Chart history that an artist has been featured with more tracks in the Top 50 Singles Chart on the same week, is when Michael Jackson featured 17 times back in 2009, Ed Sheeran with 16 in March of 2017 and most recently Post Malone with 17 in May of 2018.

It is also worth noting that 2012’s winner of The Voice - Karise Eden featured eight times on the ARIA Singles Chart Top 50 in June 2012 the week after winning the talent competition, whilst the late Prince also featured eight times in May of 2016.

Now only time will tell if Drake will join this elite company….
