George Ezra holds #1 for third week with Shotgun

Moves for Marshmello & Bastille, Khalid, Loud Luxury and more!

For the third week in a row, ‘Shotgun’ by George Ezra holds #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart.

Moving up one spot from last week, ‘Happier’ by Marshmello and Bastille’s hits a new peak at #5. It’s the track’s seventh week in the Top 50.

In its third week in the chart, Khalid’s ‘Better’ moves up four spots to crack to Top Ten for the first time at #8. It becomes the American artist’s third Top Ten as a lead artist. His highest peak to date was with ‘Love Lies’ (#3 Apr. ’18).

Canadian house duo Loud Luxury move up four spots to #10 with ‘Body’. It becomes the pair’s first Top Ten in Australia.

Climbing up five spots to #13, Lithuanian producer Dynoro takes out a new peak with his debut chart entry, ‘In My Mind’.

This week’s chart also includes new peaks for Silk City & Dua Lipa’s ‘Electricity’ (#22), The Chainsmokers’ ‘This Feeling’ (#23), Tom Walker’s ‘Leave A Light On’ (#24) and Kian’s ‘Waiting’ (#38).

Debuts:

#41: DJ Snake Feat. Selena Gomez, Ozuna & Cardi B ‘Taki Taki’ – French DJ/producer DJ Snake takes out a sixth entry as lead artist on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Taki Taki’. The single features vocals by Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj and Puerto Rican artist Ozuna. DJ Snake last charted with ‘Let ME Love You’ (#2 Aug. ’16).

#42: Lil Wayne Feat. Kendrick Lamar ‘Mona Lisa’ – With his album Tha Carter V debuting at #6 on this week’s Albums Chart, American rapper Lil Wayne hits the Singles Chart with two tracks. The highest charting track, ‘Mona Lisa’ features Kendrick Lamar. Debuting at #50, ‘Don’t Cry’ features the late rapper XXXTentacion. It’s Lil Wayne’s first chart appearance since the collaboration with Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, X Ambassadors, Ty Dolla $ign and Logic, ‘Sucker For Pain’ (#7 Sept. ’16). His last solo chart entry was with ‘Mirror’ (#26 Apr. ’12).

#49: Alesso ‘Remedy’ – Alesso scores a fourth ARIA Top 50 entry with ‘Remedy’. The track is the Swedish DJ’s first appearance on the chart since the collaboration with Hailee Steinfeld, ‘Let Me Go’ (#12 Dec. ’17). Alesso’s highest peak to date was with ‘Heroes (We Could Be)’ (#11 Oct. ’14).
