Greatest Showman holds #1 for third week

Moves for Camila Cabello, The Cranberries, Tonight Alive and more!

For the third consecutive week, the soundtrack to The Greatest Showman sits at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

Irish band The Cranberries has two entries in this week’s top 50 following the untimely death of front woman Dolores O'Riordan (see below).

With their national tour kicking off this weekend, Foo Fighters have jumped up 17 spots to 18 with Concrete And Gold. The band’s Greatest Hits is up 19 to #30.

Debuts:

#3: Camila Cabello ‘Camila Cabello’ – Former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello releases her debut solo album, Camila. The album includes former #1 ‘Havana’ (Nov. ’17), as well as the new single ‘Never Be The Same’ (debuting at #17 this week). As a member of Fifth Harmony, Cabello’s highest Albums Chart peak was with 7/27 (#8 Jun. ’16).

#8: The Cranberries ‘Stars: The Best of 1992-2002’ – Following the passing of singer Dolores O'Riordan at age 46, Irish group The Cranberries pick up a new Albums Chart entry with this hits collection. Stars includes material from the band’s first five studio albums, which included #1s No Need To Argue (Jan. ’95) and To The Faithful Departed (May ’96). The Cranberries hit the top ten on the Singles Chart with ‘Zombie’ (#1 Dec. ’94), ‘Ode To My Family’ (#5 Mar. ’95) and ‘Salvation’ (#May ’96).

#11: Tonight Alive ‘Underworld’ – The fourth studio album from Tonight Alive gives the Sydney pop punk band their fourth top 50 entry on the ARIA Albums Chart. Underworld follows on from Limitless (#6 Mar. ’16) and was recorded in Thailand.

#13: Black Veil Brides ‘Vale’ – American rockers Black Veil Brides score a new ARIA Charts peak with Vale. Their fifth studio release comes just over three years on from their self-titled fourth album (#23 Nov. ’14).

#17: Original Cast Recording ‘Muriel's Wedding The Musical’ – The cast recording of Muriel's Wedding The Musical features tracks written by Kate Miller-Heidke and Keir Nuttall, as well as songs originally performed by ABBA. The cast of the Sydney Theatre Company production includes Justine Clarke, Gary Sweet and Maggie McKenna as Muriel.

#20: Joe Satriani ‘What Happens Next’ – Guitar maestro Joe Satriani returns with 16th solo album, What Happens Next. It’s Satriani’s fifth solo release to chart in the ARIA top 50 and features Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and former Deep Purple bassist Glenn Hughes. Satriani’s highest peak was with Surfing With The Alien (#10 Nov. ’88).

#39: Tiny Little Houses ‘Idiot Proverbs’ – Melbourne band Tiny Little Houses hit the ARIA Albums Chart for the first time with debut album Idiot Proverbs. The indie quartet has previously released a number of singles and EPs, including 2016’s Snow Globe and 2015’s You Tore My Hear Out.

#40: The Cranberries ‘Gold’ – The second Cranberries’ compilation to debut this week is a double disc best of set bringing together tracks from throughout the first era of the Irish band’s career.

#45: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club ‘Wrong Creatures’ – Album eight from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club gives the American trio their first top 50 entry since 2010. Wrong Creatures comes five years on from Specter At The Feast. They last charted with Beat The Devils Tattoo (#50 Mar. ’10).
