British singer-songwriter George Ezra hits #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Shotgun’. In its eighth week in the Top 50, the track moves up two spots to give Ezra his first Australian #1. The track spent four non-consecutive weeks at #1 in the UK between July and September.

In its second week on the chart, Lil Pump and Kanye West’s ‘I Love It’ moves up three spots to claim a new peak at #4.

After returning to the Top Ten last week, Jonas Blue’s ‘Rise’ is up a further two spots this week to take out a new peak at #7.

Jumping up five spots, Marshmello and Bastille’s ‘Happier’ hits the Top Ten for the first time at #8. It’s the American DJ/producer’s fourth Top Ten after ‘Wolves’ (#5 Dec. ’17), ‘Silence’ (#5 Jan. ’18) and ‘Friends’ (#4 Apr. ’18). For British group Bastille, it’s their third Top Ten and first since ‘Of The Night’ (#6 Nov. ’13)

Six weeks into its chart run, ‘Body’ jumps up eleven spots to give Canadian house duo Loud Luxury a new peak at #14.

This week’s chart also includes new peaks for Silk City’s ‘Electricity’ (#24), Dynoro’s ‘In My Mind’ (#25), Imagine Dragons’ ‘Natural’ (#28), Jason Derulo and David Guetta’s ‘Goodbye’ (#36) and Kian’s ‘Waiting’ (#38).

Debuts:

#15: Khalid ‘Better’ – Khalid picks up a third entry as a lead artist on the Singles Chart in 2018 with ‘Better’. The track was released to coincide with two shows the American singer-songwriter performed in his hometown of El Paso, Texas last weekend. He’s also charted this year with ‘Love Lies’ (#3 Apr. ’18) and OTW (#27 Jun. ’18). Khalid is a featured artist on three tracks in this week’s Top 50: Benny Blanco’s ‘Eastside’ (#2), Martin Garrix’s ‘Ocean’ (#18) and Billie Eilish’s ‘Lovely’ (#48).

#41: Tom Walker ‘Leave A Light On’ – Scottish singer-songwriter Tom Walker makes his ARIA Top 50 debut with ‘Leave A Light On’. The track has already hit the Top Ten in a number of European countries, including in the UK, where it peaked at #7 back in June.

#45: Machine Gun Kelly ‘Rap Devil’ – American rapper Machine Gun Kelly takes out a second Top 50 entry with ‘Rap Devil’. The track is a response to Eminem’s ‘Not Alike’ (#23 Sept. ’18), in which Kelly was dissed. Kelly first charted when he collaborated with Camila Cabello on ‘Bad Things’ (#22 Feb. ’17).
