Week five at #1 for Dean Lewis' Be Alright

Debuts for Lil Pump & Kanye West, Silk City, Kian and more!

Sydney singer-songwriter Dean Lewis sits at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a fifth consecutive week with the track ‘Be Alright’.

Jumping up eight spots to #4, Calvin Harris and Sam Smith’s ‘Promises’ hits the Top Ten for the first time in its fourth week in the chart. It becomes Harris’ 14th Top Ten as lead artist and Smith’s fourth.

After a week out of the Top Ten, Jonas Blue’s ‘Rise’ jumps back up to #9. It’s the single’s third non-consecutive week at #9.

‘Happier’ by Marshmello & Bastille moves up six spots to #13 as it hits its fourth week in the chart.

Having previously peaked at #18 before dropping back to #21 last week, Bazzi’s ‘Beautiful’ jumps up six to #15 in its fifth week in the Top 50. It’s now four spots below the peak the American artist hit with ‘Mine’ (#11 Mar. ’18).

This week’s chart also includes new peaks for Loud Luxury’s ‘Body’ (#25), Zedd & Elley Duhe’s ‘Happy Now’ (#27) and Jason Derulo and David Guetta’s ‘Goodbye’ (#48).

Debuts:

#7: Lil Pump & Kanye West ‘I Love It’ – Hip hop stars Lil Pump and Kanye West team up for ‘I Love It’. The single is Lil Pump’s second Top 50 appearance after ‘Gucci Gang’ (#18 Dec. ’17). In June, all seven tracks from West’s album ye (#1 Jun. ’18) charted in the Top 50, with ‘All Mine’ being the highest placed at #10.

#33: Silk City, Dua Lipa Feat Diplo & Mark Ronson ‘Electricity’ – Acclaimed producers Mark Ronson and Diplo take out their first Singles Chart entry as Silk City with the Dua Lipa-featured single ‘Electricity’. It’s the fourth single release from the duo and their house music project. Earlier in the year Dua Lipa collaborated with Calvin Harris on ‘One Kiss’ (#3 Jun. ’18).

#37: Imagine Dragons ‘Natural’ – American band Imagine Dragons pick up a second Singles Chart entry for 2018 with ‘Natural’. Their previous release, the collaboration with Kygo ‘Born To Be Yours’, sits at #30 this week.

#41: Dynoro ‘In My Mind’ – Lithuanian producer Dynoro makes his Top 50 debut with ‘In My Mind’. It’s based on the 2012 track, also called ‘In My Mind’, released by Ivan Gough and Feenixpawl featuring Georgi Kay. Dynoro’s track has already been a hit across Europe.

#50: Kian ‘Waiting’ – 16-year-old Victorian singer-songwriter Kian debuts on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Waiting’. The winner of the 2018 edition of Triple J’s Unearthed High competition, Kian was previously a featured artist on the Baker Boy track ‘Cloud 9’. Since winning Unearthed High, Kian has begun to be mentored by Vance Joy.
