Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s soundtrack to A Star Is Born holds #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for a sixth straight week.
 
The legendary Queen have three albums in this week’s Top Five: Bohemian Rhapsody (#2), Greatest Hits (#3) and The Platinum Collection (#5).
 
At #9, Michael Bublé’s perennially popular album Christmas returns to the Top Ten for a 48th week. Since 2011, it has spent a total of eleven weeks at #1.
 
Gold Coast singer-songwriter Amy Shark was the big winner at the 2018 ARIA Awards, taking out four categories including Album Of The Year with her debut album, Love Monster. The former #1 has this week jumped up 13 spots to #12.
 
Following his performance at the ARIA Awards, George Ezra has moved up 16 spots to #20 with Staying At Tamara’s.
 
This week’s chart features seven Christmas albums. As well as the aforementioned Michael Bublé, there’s Human Nature’s The Christmas Album (up seven to #21), Samantha Jade’s The Magic Of Christmas (see below), David Campbell’s Baby It’s Christmas (up nine to #24), John Farnham & Olivia Newton-John’s Friends For Christmas (up eight to #29), Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas (re-entering at #30) and Mark Vincent’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year (up 15 to #32).

#7: Missy Higgins ‘The Special Ones’ – Missy Higgins picks up a sixth Top Ten album with The Special Ones. The career retrospective features tracks from across Higgins’ first five albums, including the #1 singles ‘Scar’ (#1 Aug. ’04) and ‘Steer’ (#1 Apr. ’07), as well as Top Ten hits ‘The Special Two’ (#2 Apr. ’05) and ‘Where I Stood’ (#10 Aug. ’07). Missy Higgins has topped the ARIA Albums Chart with The Sound Of White (#1 Sept. ’04), On A Clear Night (#1 May ’07) and The Ol’ Razzle Dazzle (#1 Jun. ’12). Earlier in the year, she released her fifth studio album, Solastalgia (#3 May ’18).
 
#15: Rita Ora ‘Phoenix’ – British artist Rita Ora releases Phoenix, her first album in six years. The follow-up to Ora (#24 Sept. ’12) includes the tracks ‘Your Song’ (#12 Jul. ’17), ‘Anywhere’ (#14 Dec. ’17), ‘For You (Fifty Shades Freed)’ (#15 Feb. ’18) and current single ‘Let You Love Me’ (#8 Dec. ’18). Collaborators on Phoenix include the late Avicii, Liam Payne, Rudimental, Charli XCX, Cardi B and more.
 
#23: Samantha Jade ‘The Magic Of Christmas’ – Samantha Jade releases her second album for 2018, The Magic Of Christmas. The festive release includes a host of Christmas classics and a duet with Guy Sebastian on the title track. Samantha Jade scored a second career Top Ten album earlier in the year with the disco covers album, Best Of My Love (#6 Apr. ’18).
 
#27: Andre Rieu ‘Romantic Moments II’ – Dutch violinist and conductor Andre Rieu returns to the chart for the first time in two years with Romantic Moments II. The album features new interpretations of tracks including ‘Strangers In The Night’, ‘Amazing Grace’ and ‘Red Roses For A Blue Lady’. Rieu last charted with Falling In Love (#20 Oct. ’16).
 
#37: Karise Eden ‘Born To Fight’ – Singer-songwriter Karise Eden returns with third album, Born To Fight. It’s the first album in four years from the winner of season one of The Voice. Eden previously charted with My Journey (#1 Jul. ’12) and Things I’ve Done (#5 Oct. ’14).
