Week three at #1 for 5SOS' Youngblood

Debuts for Maroon 5, Kanye West and more!

For the third consecutive week, 5 Seconds Of Summer sit at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Youngblood’. The last time an Australian act spent three straight weeks in the top spot was when The Veronicas’ ‘You Ruin Me’ held #1 in September/October 2014.

In its fourth week in the Top Ten, Amy Shark’s ‘I Said Hi’ climbs up two spots to score a new peak at #6.

Selena Gomez’s ‘Back To You’ moves up two spots to #7 in the same week its parent album, the soundtrack to 13 Reasons Why Season 2, debuts at #45 on the Albums Chart.

Six weeks on from peaking at #16, Cardi B’s ‘I Like It’ returns to the same spot for a second week.

As it hits a tenth week in the Top 50, Ed Sheeran’s ‘Happier’ moves back up to #26. The track previously peaked at #16.

There are also peaks this week for Juice WRLD”s ‘Lucid Dreams’ (#27) and Clean Bandit’s ‘Solo’ (#28)

Debuts:

#5: Maroon 5 Feat. Cardi B ‘Girls Like You’ – Maroon 5 scores a fourth Singles Chart entry from Red Pill Blues (#7 Nov. ’17) with ‘Girls Like You’. The track, which features rapper Cardi B, is the third Top Ten from the album, following ‘Don't Wanna Know’ (#6 Nov. ’16) and ‘What Lovers Do’ (#7 Nov. ’17). The band also charted last year with the bonus track ‘Cold’ (#27 Mar. ’17).

#12: Kanye West ‘All Mine’ – With his eighth LP, ye, debuting at #1 on this week’s ARIA Albums Chart, Kanye West has hit the Singles Chart with all seven of its tracks. The highest debut comes at #12 for ‘All Mine’. Further down the chart, West has debuted with ‘Yikes’ (#18), ‘Ghost Town’ (#22), ‘Wouldn’t Leave’ (#33), ‘Violent Crimes’ (#40), ‘I Thought About Killing You’ (#41) and ‘No Mistakes’ (#46). West last appeared on the Singles Chart with ‘Famous’ (#43 Jul. ’16).

#48: Drake ‘I’m Upset’ – Canadian rapper Drake scores a third Singles Chart entry for 2018 with ‘I’m Upset’. The track is widely believed to be on his forthcoming album Scorpion. Earlier in the year Drake topped the Singles Chart with ‘God’s Plan’ (#1 Feb. ’18) and ‘Nice For What’ (#Apr. ’18).
