Bring Me The Horizon score fourth #1 album with Amo

Debuts for Backstreet Boys, Mirusia, Rudimental and more!

Releasing Amo, their sixth studio album, British rock band Bring Me The Horizon take out their fourth consecutive #1 on the ARIA Charts (more below).
 
Keith Urban’s former #2 album Graffiti U jumps up 12 spots to #8 as his Australian tour heads into the home stretch.
 
Hottest 100 winners Ocean Alley return to the Top 50 with second album Chiaroscuro at #11, scoring a new peak in the process. Released in March 2018, the album previously peaked at #15.
 
The Cold Chisel compilation, The Best Of Cold Chisel: All For You, has jumped up 23 to #17 in its 108th week in the Top 50.
 
Returning to Australia for a full run of dates around the country, 2018 ARIA Awards guest George Ezra jumps back up nine spots to #18 with second album, Staying At Tamara’s.

#1: Bring Me The Horizon ‘Amo’ – Bring Me The Horizon score their fourth straight #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with Amo. The British rock band’s sixth studio album is the follow-up to That’s The Spirit (#1 Sept. ’15) and includes guest appearances by indie artist Grimes, Cradle Of Filth front man Dani Filth and rapper Rahzel. Bring Me The Horizon have also hit #1 in Australia with Sempiternal (#1 Apr. ’13) and There Is A Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let's Keep It A Secret (#1 Oct. ’10)
 
#5: Backstreet Boys ‘DNA’ – Veteran boyband the Backstreet Boys return to the ARIA Top Ten for the first time since 2005 with DNA. The quintet’s ninth album is their first since In A World Like This (#30 Aug. ’13) and features ‘Don't Go Breaking My Heart’ (#50 May ’18), which was their first entry in the Singles Chart Top 50 eleven years. The last Backstreet Boys album to hit the Top Ten was Never Gone (#6 Jul. ’05).
 
#23: Bethel Music ‘Victory (Live)’ – American worship group Bethel Music chart with a fifth live album, Victory (Live). The follow-up to 2018’s Moments: Mighty Sound, it’s the first Bethel Music album to chart since Starlight (Live) (#15 Apr. ’17). The group’s highest peak to date has been with Have It All (Live) (#8 Mar. ’16).
 
#27: Mirusia ‘A Salute To The Seekers’ – Australian soprano Mirusia scores her fourth Top 50 entry with A Salute To The Seekers. The album sees her covering classics by the ARIA Hall Of Fame members including ‘Georgy Girl’, ‘I’ll Find Another You’, ‘Morningtown Ride’ and ‘The Carnival Is Over’. Mirusia last charted with This Time Tomorrow (#21 Apr. ’16).
 
#41: Rudimental ‘Toast To Our Differences’ – British drum and bass act Rudimental release their third studio album, Toast To Our Differences. Their first album since We The Generation (#4 Oct. ’15) features the single ‘These Days’ (#2 Feb. ’18), as well as contributions by Major Lazer, Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne, James Arthur, Rita Ora and more. Rudimental’s highest chart peak to date was with their debut album, Home (#2 May ’13).
 
#43: Julia Michaels ‘Inner Monologue Part 1’ – American singer-songwriter Julia Michaels pick up her first entry in the ARIA Albums Chart Top 50 with Inner Monologue Part 1. Michaels’ fourth EP features collaborations with Selena Gomez and Niall Horan. Michaels has recently been the opening act on Keith Urban’s Australian tour.
 
#49: Weezer ‘Weezer (Teal Album)’ – Alt-rock legends Weezer release the surprise covers album, Weezer (Teal Album). The group’s twelfth studio album seems them taking on tracks by the likes of Toto, Electric Light Orchestra, Black Sabbath, TLC, Eurythmics and more. They last charted with Weezer (White Album) (#28 Apr. ’16).
