Tones And I holds #1 for second week with Dance Monkey

Moves for Blanco Brown, Chris Brown, Kygo & Whitney Houston and more!

After hitting #1 for the first time last week, Tones and I’s ‘Dance Monkey’ holds #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a second week. The Byron Bay artist’s third single, ‘Never Seen The Rain’, has jumped up eight spots to score a new peak at #24 in its third week on the chart.
 
Blanco Brown’s ‘The Git Up’ continues its steady climb up the chart. In its eighth week in the Top 50, it’s up one more spot to claim a new peak at #9.
 
Originally peaking at #7, Chris Brown’s ‘No Guidance’ dropped as low as #29 before staging a chart comeback. After jumping up nine spots last week, it’s back up a further six this week to sit at #14.
 
Marshmello’s Kane-Brown-featured single ‘One Thing Right’ moves up three to hit a new peak at #15.
 
Peaking at #20 two weeks ago, Kygo’s remix of Whitney Houston’s cover of Steve Winwood’s ‘Higher Love’ dropped to #28 last week. This week, it’s almost made up that drop, moving to #21.
 
This week’s chart also features new peaks for The Chainsmokers & ILLENIUM’s ‘Takeaway’ (#32), Jessica Mauboy’s ‘Little Things’ (#33) and NF’s ‘Time’ (#38).

#4: Ariana Grande & Social House ‘Boyfriend’ – Ariana Grande scores a third Top Ten entry on the Singles Chart in 2019 as she teams up with pop duo Social House on ‘Boyfriend’. The American star charted in the Top Ten earlier in the year with ‘7 Rings’ (#1 Jan. ’19) and ‘Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’ (#2 Feb. ’19). ‘Boyfriend’ has been included on the Social House’s debut EP, Everything Changed…, which was released this week.
 
#37: Lauv Feat. Anne-Marie ‘F**k, I'm Lonely’ – After hitting #11 in March with ‘I’m So Tired…’, Lauv picks up a second chart entry for the year with the Anne-Marie-featured track ‘F**k, I'm Lonely’. The track featured in the trailer for season three of the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why and will be included on Lauv’s debut album, How I’m Feeling.
 
#48: Bazzi ‘I.F.L.Y.’ – American singer-songwriter Bazzi takes out his fourth entry in the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘I.F.L.Y.’. Like previous single ‘Paradise’ (#37 May ’19), the new track comes from Bazzi’s first mixtape, Soul Searching, which was released this week and could appear on next week’s chart.
