Moves for Blanco Brown, Marshmello and more!

Tones And I continues to reign at the top with a third week at #1 with ‘Dance Monkey’. It has been over a decade since an Australian Female solo artist has spent at least three weeks at the top of the ARIA Singles Chart – that was Gabriella Cilmi with ‘Sweet About Me’ (four consecutive weeks at #1, May-Jun ’08). Tones And I also has two other singles in the chart – ‘Johnny Run Away’ at #18 an ‘Never Seen The Rain’ at #22.

After nine weeks in the chart, Blanco Brown’s ‘The Git Up’ moves up to a new peak position of #8. The country-crossover hit seeks to follow the success of Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road’.

Another country crossover moving up in the charts is ‘One Thing Right’. Dance producer Marshmello and country singer Kane Brown’s collaboration moves to a new peak of #12. It is still climbing after seven weeks in the chart.

American pop singer and producer Lauv and British singer Anne-Marie move up 18 spots in its second week to #19, the biggest mover of the week. The track will feature in the new season of the Netflix teen drama 13 Reasons Why, which is released later this month.

Debuts:

#15: Lil Tecca ‘Ransom’ – American rapper Lil Tecca makes his ARIA Top 50 debut with ‘Ransom’. The track has been a Top Ten hit in the US for the 16-year-old artist, whose real name is Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe.

#33: Katy Perry ‘Small Talk’ – Katy Perry’s new single debuts at #33. Small Talk follows her earlier hit this year, ‘Never Really Over’ (#7 Jun. ’19).
