Week nine at #1 for Lil Nas X's Old Town Road

Debuts for Taylor Swift, Drake, Flume and more!

Lil Nas X sits at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a ninth week with ‘Old Town Road’. This week, the American rapper has released his debut EP, 7.
 
In its second week on the chart, ‘No Guidance’ by Chris Brown has jumped ten spots to crack the Top Ten at #7. It becomes Brown’s twelfth Top Ten on the ARIA Singles Chart.
 
Five weeks into its chart run, ‘Piece Of Your Heart’ by Italian production trio MeduZa grabs another new peak, moving three spots to #11.
 
This week’s chart also features new peaks for OneRepublic’s ‘Rescue Me’ (#27), Guy Sebastian’s ‘Choir’ (#33) and Tones And I’s ‘Dance Monkey’ (#37).

#3: Taylor Swift ‘You Need To Calm Down’ – Taylor Swift picks up a 17th Top Ten on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘You Need To Calm Down’. The track is the second released from Lover, Swift’s forthcoming seventh album, following on from ‘Me!’ (#2 May ’19).
 
#12: Drake Feat. Rick Ross ‘Money In The Grave’ – Canadian rapper Drake makes his first Top 50 appearance on the chart as a lead artist for 2019 with ‘Money In The Grave’. Featuring Rick Ross, the track was released as part of the two-track EP The Best In The World Pack, along with ‘Omertà’, after the Toronto Raptors won the NBA championship. Drake is a Global Ambassador for his hometown’s basketball team.
 
#31: Flume Feat. London Grammar ‘Let You Know’ – Sydney producer Flume hits the ARIA Singles Chart for the first time since 2016 with ‘Let You Know’. The track features vocals by Hannah Reid of English indie pop band London Grammar. It becomes Flume’s first Top 50 appearance since Skin Companion EP I (#29 Dec. ’16).
 
#42: Joji ‘Sanctuary’ – After hitting the Albums Chart last year with Ballads 1 (#17 Nov. ’18), Japanese artist Joji hits the Singles Chart for the first time with ‘Sanctuary’. The track is Joji’s first release since the album.
 
#45: Blanco Brown ‘The Git Up’ – Atlanta rapper Blanco Brown makes his chart debut with ‘The Git Up’. The track has become a viral sensation thanks to a dance challenge on apps TikTok and YouTube. It has already begun to climb the charts in the US.
