Last week’s ARIA Charts saw Danes Lukas Graham continue their run at #1 on the Singles Chart for a sixth straight week with ‘7 Years’, while Brisbane’s Violent Soho picked up their first #1 on the Albums Chart with ‘Waco’.

Who’ll top the ARIA Charts this week?

Let’s check out some of this week’s contenders.


After debuting at #1 on the singles chart for the first time as a solo artist with Pillowtalk (#1 Feb. 06) Zayn Malik looks set for a high debut on the albums chart with his debut solo album Mind of Mine. English metalcore band Asking Alexandria return with their first studio album in thirteen years, The Black; Swedish melodic death metal band Amon Amarth could be set to make their ARIA Top 50 Album Chart debut with their tenth studio album Jomsviking; British Musician Birdy returns with her first album in three years, Beautiful Lies & blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa returns with his 12th studio album, Blues of Desperation.

Older titles that could make a move back up the top 50 this week include Sam Smith’s In the Lonely Hour, Adele’s 21 & Ice House’s 30 Hits. 


The LA singer-producer Gnash could make his ARIA Chart debut with I Hate U, I Love You which features Olivia O’Brien - a San Francisco Bay Area singer-songwriter who wrote the original track which Gnash has now reworked. Australian rapper Iggy Azalea is set to return to the chart with her forthcoming second studio album’s first single Team and American actress and singer Hailee Steinfield could make her ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart debut with Rock Bottom which features the American Funk pop band DNCE.

Singles looking to make their jump up the chart this week include: Flo Rida’s My House, Sia’s Cheap Thrills, The Chainsmokers’ Don’t Let Me Down featuring Daya, Disturbed’s The Sound of Silence & Rufus’ You Were Right.
