Missy Higgins - On A CLear Night

With her second album, On A Clear Night, Melbourne singer-songwriter Missy Higgins picked up the second of her three #1s to date on the ARIA Albums Chart. The follow-up to The Sound Of White (#1 Sept. ’04) debuted in the top spot and went on to spend eight weeks in the top ten and 39 weeks in the top 50.

On A Clear Night featured the singles ‘Steer’ (#1 Apr. ’07) and ‘Where I Stood’ (#10 Aug. ’07). The album was accredited 3x Platinum and reached #4 on the 2007 ARIA End Of Year Albums Chart.

Missy Higgins scored her third #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with The Ol' Razzle Dazzle (#1 Jun. ’12). She last charted with Oz (#3 Sept. ’14).


Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend

Canadian artist Avril Lavigne scored her second #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart when ‘Girlfriend’ spent six weeks in the top spot in April/May 2007. The first single from Lavigne’s third album, The Best Damn Thing (#2 Apr. ’07), it debuted at #3 in early April before hitting #1 for the first time in its second week in the top 50. ‘Girlfriend’ went on to spend 17 weeks in the top 50 and 27 weeks in the top 50.

The single reached an accreditation of 4x Platinum and was #2 on the 2007 ARIA End Of Year Singles Chart.

Avril Lavigne reached #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for the first time with ‘Complicated’ (#1 Aug. ’02). Her last top 50 appearance was with ‘Rock N Roll’ (#45 Sept. ’13).
