It’s week three of Ed Sheeran holding both #1s on the ARIA Charts. This week, ‘Shape Of You’ hit its eleventh week at #1 on the Singles Chart and ÷ made it three weeks in a row at the top of the Albums Chart.

Who’ll be vying for honours on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Here are some of this week’s contenders.


Country star Lee Kernaghan celebrates 25 years since the release of his debut album The Outback Club (#58 May. ’94) with The 25th Anniversary Album; Sydney metalcore band Northlane return with surprise fourth album Mesmer; singer-songwriter James Blunt returns with his first album in four years, The Afterlove; glam rockers Steel Panther could score their second top ten album with Lower The Bar; Melbourne singer-songwriter Ali Barter could make her top 50 debut with debut album A Suitable Girl; veteran British boy band Take That could chart for the first time since 2007 with Wonderland; Melbourne hardcore band Mindsnare could score their first top 50 entry with their first studio album in ten years, Unholy Rush; R&B star Trey Songz returns with seventh album Tremaine The Album; currently on tour in Australia, Dixie Chicks could score a new top 50 entry with compilation The Classic Albums Collection; Mark Seymour & The Undertow could hit the top 50 for a second time with live album Roll Back The Stone 1985 – 2016; Sydney post-rock band sleepmakeswaves could score a second top 50 entry with fourth album Made Of Breath Only.

Look out for moves up the Albums Chart this week by the soundtrack to Beauty And The Beast, Dixie Chicks’ The Essential and Little Mix’s Glory Days.


Former One Direction member Zayn teams up with Canadian rapper Partynextdoor on ‘Still Got Time’; rapper Kendrick Lamar could score a third top 50 entry with ‘The Heart Part 4’; David Guetta brings in collaborators Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne for ‘Light My Body Up’; American rapper Future could score a second Singles Chart entry for 2017 with ‘Mask Off’.

Singles that could make a move up the chart this week include Drake’s ‘Passionfruit’ and Clean Bandit’s ‘Symphony’.
