Contenders include Niall Horan, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and more.

It was a week of new #1s on the ARIA Charts last week. Sydney hip hop trio Bliss N Eso scored their third #1 album with Off The Grid. On the Singles Chart, DJ Khaled picked up his first #1 with ‘I'm The One’.

Which acts will be vying for the top spots on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Highlights from the first 30 years of work by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are brought together on Lovely Creatures - The Best Of Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds (1984 - 2014); American punk band At The Drive-In return with their first album since 2000, in•ter a•li•a; rapper Logic could claim his second career top 50 entry with third album Everybody; Brit rockers Kasabian could score their fourth top 50 entry with For Crying Out Loud; American singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton will be aiming for a new peak with second album From A Room: Volume 1; punk legends Blondie return with eleventh album Pollinator; Canadian Mac DeMarco could pick up his second top 50 entry with This Old Dog; Icelandic singer-songwriter Asgeir returns with third album Afterglow; American metal band Motionless In White could claim their second top 50 entry with fourth album Graveyard Shift; Perth’s Pond could crack their third top 50 entry with The Weather; West Australian quartet San Cisco return with third album The Water; singer-songwriter Diana Krall releases her 13th album Turn Up The Quiet; Melbourne band Strangers could score their a top 50 debut thanks to second album Mirrorland.

Albums that could make a move up the chart include Bruno Mars’ 24k Magic, Bee Gees’ Timeless: The All-Time Greatest Hits and Drake’s More Life.


Former One Direction member Niall Horan will be looking for a second top ten entry with ‘Slow Hands’; Jonas Blue could pick up his first chart entry for 2017 with ‘Mama’; American trio Haim could return to the top 50 for the first time since 2013 with ‘Want You Back’.

Look out for moves up the Singles Chart this week by Ed Sheeran’s ‘Galway Girl’, Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s ‘Despacito’ and Jason Derulo’s ‘Swalla’, amongst others.
