Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

Contenders include Katy Perry, London Grammar, Rise Against and more.

On last week’s ARIA Charts, Ed Sheeran topped the Albums Chart for a 12th week with ÷ and ‘Despacito’ by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee Feat. Justin Bieber held  the #1 position on the Singles Chart for a fourth straight week.

Who will challenge for top honours  on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Katy Perry will be aiming for her third #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with fifth album Witness; British trio London Grammar return with their second album, Truth Is A Beautiful Thing; Chicago hardcore band Rise Against could grab their fourth top ten on the ARIA Charts with Wolves; country stars Lady Antebellum could notch up their fifth top ten with Heart Break; contemporary worship band Hillsong United return with fifth studio album Wonder; Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie team up for the duo album Lindsey Buckingham Christine Mcvie; French indie band Phoenix could grab their third top 50 appearance with sixth album Ti Amo; American punk veterans Rancid return with ninth album, Trouble Maker.

Albums that could make a move back up the chart this week include Ed Sheeran’s X, Keith Urban’s Ripcord, Taylor Swift’s 1989, Kaleo’s A / B and Suicide Squad: The Album.


French producer David Guetta could score his second top 50 entry for 2017 with the Justin Bieber-featured single ‘2U’; The Veronicas release their first single for 2017, ‘The Only High’; Morocco-born American rapper French Montana could make his ARIA top 50 debut with ‘Unforgettable’.

Look out for jumps up this week’s Singles Chart by Ed Sheeran’s ‘Castle On The Hill’, Childish Gambino’s ‘Redbone’ and Kaleo’s ‘Way Down We Go’.
