Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

July 5, 2017

Contenders include Stone Sour, Calvin Harris and more.

Last week on the ARIA Charts, Ed Sheeran returned to #1 on the Albums Chart for a 14th week with ÷ and ‘Despacito’ by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee Feat. Justin Bieber sat at #1 on the Singles Chart for a seventh straight week.

Which artists could we see challenging for the top spots on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Here are some of this week’s possible debutants and movers.

American rock band Stone Sour will be aiming for a second top five on the albums chart with Hydrograd; Calvin Harris could be set to score a third top five album with Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1; Aussie trio Tex, Don & Charlie release their third album You Don't Know Lonely; comedy duo Superfruit could chart with their first EP Future Friends - Part One; Los Angeles trio Lany could chart with their self-titled debut.

Albums that could climb this week’s ARIA Chart include Katy Perry’s Witness, the Moana soundtrack, Royal Blood’s How Did We Get So Dark?, The Weeknd’s Starboy, Bruno Mars’ - 24k Magic, Shawn Mendes’s Illuminate and Beyoncé’s Lemonade.

On the Singles Chart this week, there’s a chance the top 50 will see no debuts. However, look out for moves up the chart from the likes of Niall Horan’s ‘Slow Hands’, Imagine Dragons’ ‘Thunder’, Calvin Harris’ ‘Feels’, Jessica Mauboy’ ‘Fallin'’, Katy Perry’s ‘Swish Swish’, Drake’s ‘Signs’ and Calvin Harris’ ‘Slide’

The weekly ARIA Charts announcement happens every Saturday at 5pm.
