Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

Contenders include Meg Mac, The Vamps and more.

On last week’s ARIA Charts, Ed Sheeran’s ÷ held #1 on the Albums Chart for a 16th week and ‘Despacito’ by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee Feat. Justin Bieber claimed a ninth straight week at #1 on the Singles Chart.

Which acts will we see aiming for the top of the ARIA Charts this week?

Let’s check out some of the possible debutants and movers.


Melbourne singer-songwriter Meg Mac could make her ARIA Albums Chart debut with debut album Low Blows; ARIA chart-toppers The Amity Affliction are among the artists that contribute to the album Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 7; British pop band The Vamps return with third album Night & Day; London duo Oh Wonder could make their Albums Chart debut with second album Ultralife; Brisbane’s The Kite String Tangle could pick up a second Albums Chart entry on the back of his self-titled debut album; Melbourne metalcore band Alpha Wolf could hit the chart with debut album Mono; contemporary Christian act Planetshakers could score a sixth top 50 entry with live release Legacy, Pt. 2: Passion.

Albums that could climb up this week’s chart include Katy Perry’s Witness, the Baby Driver soundtrack, Rag'N'Bone Man’s Human, Pete Murray’s Camacho, Gorillaz’s Humanz and Allday’s Speeding.


Selena Gomez follows ‘Bad Liar’ (#13 May ’17) with ‘Fetish’; Melbourne singer-songwriter Vance Joy  could return to the ARIA top 50 for the first time since 2015 with ‘Lay It On Me’; Coldplay release the new five-track Kaleidoscope EP; Demi Lovato returns with her first single in two years, ‘Sorry Not Sorry’.

Keep an eye out for moves up this week’s chart by Liam Payne’s ‘Strip That Down’, Imagine Dragons’ ‘Thunder’, French Montana‘s ‘Unforgettable’ and Macklemore’s ‘Glorious’.
