New releases come from Gang Of Youths, Thy Art Is Murder, Justin Bieber and more.

There was new #1s at the top of last week’s ARIA Charts, with legendary singer-songwriter Paul Kelly scoring his first #1 on the Albums Chart with Life Is Fine and P!nk announcing her return by snaring her ninth #1 single with ‘What About Us’.

Which acts will be vying for the #1s on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the possible debutants and movers for this week.


Sydney’s Gang Of Youths could score a new chart peak with second album Go Farther In Lightness; deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder could be headed for a second top ten peak with Dear Desolation; Welsh pop punk band Neck Deep release their third album, The Peace And The Panic; Brooklyn indie band Grizzly Bear return with their first album in five years, Painted Ruins; prolific prog musician Steven Wilson could score his first top 50 entry as a solo artist with To The Bone; King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard release their third album of 2017, Sketches Of Brunswick East; Manchester’s Everything Everything could pick up a second top 50 entry with fourth album A Fever Dream.

Albums that could make a move up the chart this week include Calvin Harris’s Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, Bruno Mars’ 24k Magic, Queen’s Greatest Hits, INXS’ The Very Best and London Grammar’s - Truth Is A Beautiful Thing.


Justin Bieber teams up with producer BloodPop® for the new single ‘Friends’; Khalid follows ‘Location’ (#39 Aug. ’17) with ‘Young Dumb & Broke’; Miley Cyrus releases ‘Younger Now’, the title track of her forthcoming album.

Look out for move on this week’s Singles Chart by Dua Lipa’s ‘New Rules’, Demi Lovato’s ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ and Lauv’s ‘I Like Me Better’.
