September 6, 2017

New releases come from The Script, LCD Soundsystem, Neil Finn and more.

At the top of last week’s ARIA Charts, Taylor Swift announced her return by scoring her fifth #1 single with ‘Look What You Made Me Do’. On the Albums Chart, Queens Of The Stone Age took out their second chart-topper with Villains.

Who could we see taking out the top spots on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the week’s possible debutants and movers.

Irish band The Script could score their fifth top ten with fifth studio album Freedom Child; LCD Soundsystem could hit the top ten for the first time with their comeback album American Dream; Neil Finn releases his fourth solo studio album, Out Of Silence; Dixie Chicks compile highlights of their recent live tour with DCX MMXVI Live; British singer-songwriter Jake Bugg returns with fourth album Hearts That Strain; Perth rapper Mr. Grevis could take out a second top 50 entry with Game Over; metal legends Motörhead release the covers compilation Under Cöver.

Albums that could make a move up this week’s chart include Vance Joy’s Dream Your Life Away, Carole King’s Tapestry, Nickelback’s Feed The Machine, The Weeknd’s Starboy, Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman, Alice Cooper’s Paranormal and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s Sketches Of Brunswick East.

After hitting #1 last week with ‘Look What You Made Me Do’, Taylor Swift could pick up another new Singles Chart entry with ‘...Ready For It?’; Maroon 5 team up with R&B artist SZA for ‘What Lovers Do’, the third single from their forthcoming sixth album.

Look out for moves up this week’s Singles Chart by Demi Lovato’s ‘Sorry Not Sorry’, Lauv’s ‘I Like Me Better’, Logic’s ‘1-800-273-8255’ and Khalid’s ‘Young Dumb & Broke’.

The weekly ARIA Charts announcement happens every Saturday at 5pm.
