5SOS continue Singles Chart dominance for fifth week

Debuts for Nicki Minaj, Martin Garrix, Troye Sivan and more!

In the week they pick up their third #1 on the Albums Chart with Youngblood, the title track to 5 Seconds Of Summer’s third album spends a fifth straight week at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The last time an Australian artist held the #1s on both charts was August 2011 when Gotye was #1 on the Singles Chart with ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ and #1 on the Albums Chart with Making Mirrors.

Moving up one spot from last week, ‘Girls Like You’ becomes Maroon 5’s fourth track to peak at #2 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The band has previously reached the same peak with ‘Moves Like Jagger’ (#2 Aug. ’11), ‘Payphone’ (#2 Jun. ’12) and ‘One More Night’ (#2 Aug. ’12). They’ve only peaked higher with ‘She Will Be Loved’ (#1 Sept. ’04).

In its third week in the Top Ten, Anne-Marie’s ‘2002’ jumps up four spots to grab a new peak at #4. It matches the British artist’s highest chart peak, previously reached with the Marshmello collaboration ‘Friends’ (#4 Apr. ’18).

Following the death of XXXTentacion at the age of 20, two of the rapper’s tracks have re-entered the Top 50 this week. The highest re-entry comes for ‘Sad!’, which picks up a new peak at #8. Further down the chart, ‘Changes’ is back in at #34.

Following the announcement of his first Australian tour, British artist Calum Scott returns to the Top 50 this week with ‘You Are The Reason’ (#37) and ‘Dancing On My Own’ (#49).

This week’s chart also includes new peaks for Billie Eilish’s ‘Lovely’ (#11), Clean Bandit’s ‘Solo’ (#12), Juice WRLD’s ‘Lucid Dreams’ (#14), Peking Duk’s ‘Reprisal’ (#20) and NOTD’s ‘I Wanna Know’ (#36).
