Ariana Grande scores second #1 with Thank U, Next

Moves for Halsey, Post Malone & Swae Lee, Rita Ora and more!

Moving up one spot from its debut position, ‘Thank U, Next’ becomes Ariana Grande’s second #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. Grande first hit #1 in April of this year, when she topped the chart with ‘No Tears Left To Cry’. ‘Thank U, Next’ has also hit #1 in the UK and US.
 
Halsey’s ‘Without Me’ continues its steady climb up the chart. In its sixth week in the Top 50, it’s moved up a further spot to grab another new peak at #3.
 
Notching up a fourth week in the chart, Post Malone and Swae Lee take out a new peak at #6 with ‘Sunflower’.
 
After two weeks out of the Top Ten, Billie EIlish’s ‘When The Party’s Over’ returns to its previous peak position.
 
With just over a week to go before her ARIA Awards performance, Rita Ora jumps up three spots to #14 with ‘Let You Love Me’.
 
Returning to the Top 50 last week, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ jumps up eight spots this week to #18. Two more Queen classics have hit the chart this week: ‘Another One Bites The Dust’ at #39 and ‘Somebody To Love’ at #50.
 
Further down the chart, there are also new peaks for Charli XCX & Troye Sivan’s ‘1999’ (#23), Ava Max’s ‘Sweet But Psycho’ (#28) and Sheck Wes’ ‘Mo Bamba’ (#42).

#31: XXXTentacion ‘Bad!’ – Late rapper XXXTentacion scores another new entry on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Bad!’. The track is the first to come from the upcoming posthumous album Skins, which is set for release in December. This week, XXXTentacion is also at #17 with ‘Arms Around You’ and #33 with ‘Falling Down’.
 
#35: Imagine Dragons ‘Bad Liar’ – As well as debuting at #4 on this week’s Albums Chart with fourth album, Origins, Imagine Dragons pick up another Singles Chart entry with ‘Bad Liar’. It’s the second track from the standard edition of the album to chart, following ‘Natural’ (#28 Sept. ’18).
