God's Plan gives Drake second #1 single

Moves for Pnau, Bruno Mars, Camila Cabello and more!

Canadian rapper Drake scores his second #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘God’s Plan’. Taken from the EP Scary Hours, the track debuted at #5 last week before making the jump to the top spot this week. Drake previously topped the ARIA Singles Chart for seven weeks with ‘One Dance’ (#1 May ’16).

After a week out of the top ten, Bruno Mars and Cardi B’s ‘Finesse’ jumps back up five spots to claim a new peak at #6. The track was performed by the duo at the 60th Grammy Awards this week. Mars was a big winner on the night, taking home six awards including Album Of The Year for 24K Magic (#3 Nov. ’16), plus Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year for ‘That's What I Like’ (#5 Apr. ’17). 24K Magic is up eight spots on the Albums Chart to #17.

Jumping up five spots to #7 in its third week in the top 50, ‘Never Be The Same’ cracks the top ten for the first time. It becomes Camila Cabello’s second top ten single, following on from ‘Havana’ (#1 Nov. ’17).

Sydney’s Pnau pick up their second top ten on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Go Bang’. Its move of five spots to #9 comes a year on from ‘Chameleon’ (#4 Feb. ’17) giving the trio their highest peak to date.

In its second week on the chart, Rudimental’s ‘These Days’ moves up eight spots to #10. It becomes the British group’s fifth top ten entry and their first since ‘Lay It On Me’ (#7 Oct. ’15).

Following its Triple J Hottest 100 triumph, Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Humble.’ has jumped back up 25 spots to sit at #20 this week.

There are also new peaks this week for Dua Lipa’s ‘IDGAF’ (#16), Angus & Julia Stone’s ‘Chateau’ (#26), Camelphat & Elderbrook’s ‘Cola’ (#32) and The Chainsmokers’ ‘Sick Boy’ (#38).

#36: Justin Timberlake Feat.  Chris Stapleton ‘Say Something’ – With Man Of The Woods released and likely to appear in next week’s chart, Justin Timberlake picks up a second Singles Chart entry from the album with ‘Say Something’. Featuring southern rock artist Chris Stapleton, the track is the follow-up to ’Filthy’ (#27 Jan. ’18). Timberlake will be the Super Bowl halftime entertainment on 5 February (Australia time).

#49: Gang Of Youths ‘Let Me Down Easy’ – Sydney’s Gang Of Youths score their first top 50 entry on the Singles Chart with ‘Let Me Down Easy’. Taken from the #1 album Go Farther In Lightness (Aug. ’17), the track was #2 in this year’s Triple J Hottest 100. It was one of three tracks Gang Of Youths placed in the top ten, with ‘The Deepest Sighs, The Frankest Shadows’ landing at #5 and ‘What Can I Do If The Fire Goes Out?’ placing at #10.

#50; Hayden James Feat. GRAACE ‘Numb’ – House producer Hayden James nabs a second Singles Chart top 50 entry with ‘Numb’. The Sydney artist previously ‘Something About You’ (#46 Feb. ’15). ‘Numb’ features vocals from fellow Sydneysider GRAACE.
