Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

June 27, 2018

New releases come from Panic! At The Disco, Nine Inch Nails, Luca Brasi and more.

Sydney’s 5 Seconds Of Summer scored a place in the ARIA Charts history books last week, becoming the 13th Australian act to have #1s on the Albums and Singles Charts in the same week. They also became the sixth act to have #1s on both charts in the same week with albums and singles of the same title – Youngblood.

Can 5SOS repeat their chart double this week on the ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the likely challengers, debutants and movers.

ALBUMs

Panic! At The Disco will be aiming to grab a third Top Three debut with sixth album, Pray For The Wicked; Nine Inch Nails release their ninth album and first in five years, Bad Witch; Tasmanian punk band Luca Brasi could take out a second Top 50 entry with fourth album, Stay; with her debut album, Sugar Mountain, Sydney-based singer-songwriter Jack River; American country duo Dan + Shay could pick up their first Top 50 entry with their self-titled third album; Bebe Rexha could make her Albums Chart with Expectations.

Albums that could make a move up the chart this week include XXXTentacion’s ?, The Beatles’ 1 and more.

Singles

Demi Lovato could return to the Top 50 as a lead artist for the first time in 2018 with ‘Sober’; DJ/producer Jonas Blue could take out a fifth Top 50 entry with ‘Rise’; as well as a new entry on the Albums Chart,  Panic! At The Disco could return to the Top 50 on the Singles Chart for the first time since 2011 with ‘High Hopes’.

Look out for moves up this week’s Singles Chart by XXXTentacion’s ‘Sad!’ and ‘Changes’, Billie Eilish’s ‘Lovely’, Clean Bandit’s ‘Solo’, Martin Garrix’s ‘Ocean’ and Tiesto & Dzeko’s ‘Jackie Chan’.
