Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

July 18, 2018

New releases come from Amy Shark, Ariana Grande, Adam Brand and more.

There was no change at the top of the ARIA Charts last week, with Drake holding #1 on the Albums Chart for a second week with Scorpion and 5 Seconds Of Summer notching up their eighth week at #1 on the Singles Chart with ‘Youngblood’.

Which acts could we see taking out the top spots on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Let’s check out who could debut or make a move up the charts.

Queensland singer-songwriter Amy Shark could grab a second Top Ten entry with debut album, Love Monster; country artist Adam Brand celebrates two decades of releases with Milestones...20 Years; the soundtrack to Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again could hit the chart in the same week the film is released; Canadian DJ deadmau5 could return to the Albums Chart for the first time in four years with mau5ville: Level 1.

Albums that could jump up the chart this week include Kendrick Lamar’s Damn., Vance Joy’s Nation Of Two, The Carters’s Everything Is Love and Slim Dusty’s The Very Best Of Slim Dusty.

Ariana Grande could chart with the second single from her forthcoming Sweetener album, ‘God Is A Woman’; Childish Gambino follows ‘This Is America’ (#1 May ’18) with ‘Summertime Magic’; songwriter/producer Benny Blanco releases his first solo single, ‘Eastside’; Adelaide’s Hilltop Hoods could hit the chart for the first time in two years with ‘Clark Griswold’; Beyoncé and Jay-Z could score their first Top 50 entry as The Carters with ‘Apesh*t’.

Look out for moves up this week’s Singles Chart from Drake’s ‘In My Feelings’, Amy Shark’s ‘I Said Hi’, Martin Garrix’s ‘Ocean’, Conrad Sewell’s ‘Healing Hands’ and Tiesto & Dzeko’s ‘Jackie Chan’, among others.
