Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

August 8, 2018

New releases come from Travis Scott, Trophy Eyes, Diesel and more.

There was no change at the top of the ARIA Charts last week with the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again soundtrack holding #1 on the Albums Chart for a second week and Drake notching up a third at #1 on the Singles Chart with ‘In My Feelings’.

Who could we see challenging for the #1s on the ARIA Charts this week?

Here are some of the likely debutants and movers.

American rapper Travis Scott could score a new ARIA Charts peak with third album Astroworld; Newcastle punk band Trophy Eyes will be aiming for a second Top Ten entry with The American Dream; Diesel celebrates three decades of music with 30: The Greatest Hits; rapper Mac Miller could take out a third chart entry with fifth album, Swimming; country singer-songwriter Graeme Connors releases his first studio album in seven years, From The Backcountry; American rockers Greta Van Fleet could make their Top 50 debut with second album, From The Fires.

This week’s chart could see moves by Aled Jones’ One Voice: Believe, Katy Perry’s Witness and Snow Patrol’s Wildness, among others.

With Astroworld looking to make a high debut on the Albums Chart, Travis Scott could also hit the Singles Chart with ‘Sicko Mode’, ‘Stargazing’ and ‘Butterfly Effect’.

Singles that could make a move up the chart include Jonas Blue’s ‘Rise’ and George Ezra’s ‘Shotgun’.
