Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

September 19, 2018

New releases come from Carrie Underwood, David Guetta, Good Charlotte and more.

There was no change at the top of the ARIA Charts last week with Sydney singer-songwriter Dean Lewis holding #1 on the Singles Chart for a fifth week with ‘Be Alright’ and Eminem scoring a second week at the top of the Albums Chart with Kamikaze.

Who could we see challenging for the top spots on the ARIA Charts this week?

Here are some of the titles that could make an impact.

ALBUMs

Country star Carrie Underwood could be headed for a third Top Five album with sixth album, Cry Pretty; French producer David Guetta releases 7, his first album in four years; Good Charlotte could take out a sixth Top Ten with Generation Rx; Daniel Johns and Luke Steele release their first album under the DREAMS moniker, No One Defeats Us; British soul group Jungle return with second album, For Ever; acclaimed Jazz artists Tony Bennett and Diana Krall team up for Love Is Here To Stay.

This week’s Albums Chart could see moves by Vance Joy’s Nation Of Two and George Ezra’s Staying At Tamara's, among others.

Singles

Khalid could take out a third Singles Chart entry for 2018 with ‘Better’; American rapper Machine Gun Kelly could take out a second Top 50 entry with ‘Rap Devil’.

Look out for jumps this week for singles including Loud Luxury’s ‘Body’, Silk City and Dua Lipa’s ‘Electricity’, Imagine Dragons’ ‘Natural’ and Kian’s ‘Waiting’
