Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

September 26, 2018

New releases come from Brockhampton, Slash, Thundamentals and more.

On last week’s ARIA Charts, there was a new #1 single with British singer-songwriter George Ezra hitting the top spot with ‘Shotgun’. On the Albums Chart, Eminem notched up a third week at #1 with Kamikaze.

Which acts could we see vying for prime positions on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Let’s have a look at some of the contenders.

ALBUMs

American hip hop collective Brockhampton could make their Top 50 debut with fourth album, Iridescence; guitar hero Slash releases his third collaboration with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, Living The Dream; Blue Mountains trio Thundamentals could take out a third Top Ten with fifth album I Love Songs; Brisbane’s Dead Letter Circus could score a sixth Top 50 entry with their self-titled fourth album; Josh Groban could chart with Bridges, his eighth album and first in three years; the archives of the late, great Prince get opened with posthumous release Piano & A Microphone 1983; Melbourne’s The Paper Kites release their second album of 2018, On The Corner Where You Live; Californian punk band The Story So Far could take out a second chart entry with Proper Dose; rapper Machine Gun Kelly releases third studio album, Binge.

This week’s Albums Chart could see a jump made by Taylor Swift’s Reputation ahead of the American star’s national tour.

Singles

Eminem could take out a third Top Ten entry for 2018 with ‘Killshot’; late rappers Lil Peep and XXXTentacion could hit the chart with posthumous single ‘Falling Down’; Gucci Mane, Bruno Mars and Kodak Black join forces on the track ‘Wake Up In The Sky’.

Look out for moves up this week’s Singles Chart by Dynoro’s ‘In My Mind’ and Tom Walker’s ‘Leave A Light On’, among others.
