Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

October 3, 2018

New releases come from Cher, Lil Wayne, The John Butler Trio and more.

There was no change at the top of the ARIA Charts last week with Eminem holding #1 on the Albums Chart for a fourth week with Kamikaze and George Ezra grabbing a second week in the top spot on the Singles Chart with ‘Shotgun’.

Who could we see hitting the top spots on the ARIA Charts this week?

Here are some of the possible debutants and movers.

Cher could be headed for her first Top Ten appearance on the Albums Chart since 2000 with the album of ABBA covers, Dancing Queen; rapper Lil Wayne could grab a second Top Ten entry with Tha Carter V; The John Butler Trio return with their first album in four years, Home; American rapper  Logic could take out a fourth Albums Chart entry with fourth studio album, YSIV; Melbourne trio The Living End release their eighth studio album, Wunderbar; the legendary Rod Stewart releases his 30th solo album, Blood Red Roses; American hardcore band Beartooth could make their second Top 50 appearance with  third album, Disease.

This week’s Albums Chart could include moves for Cold Chisel’s The Best Of Cold Chisel: All For You, Taylor Swift’s Reputation, Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty and Jimmy Barnes’ - Working Class Boy - The Soundtracks, among others.

Australian country singer-songwriter Morgan Evans could make his first appearance in the Singles Chart Top 50 with ‘Day Drunk’; Swedish DJ Alesso could take out a first chart entry for 2018 with ‘Remedy’.

Singles that could jump up this week’s chart include Dynoro’s ‘In My Mind’, Tom Walker’s ‘Leave A Light On’, The Chainsmokers’ ‘This Feeling’ and A$AP Rocky’s ‘Praise The Lord (Da Shine)’.
