Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

October 17, 2018

New releases come from Paul Kelly, Hands Like Houses, Morgan Evans and more.

On last week’s ARIA Charts, American duo Twenty One Pilots took out their first #1 album with Trench. On the Singles Chart, George Ezra held the top spot for a fourth straight week with ‘Shotgun’.

Who could we see hitting #1 on the ARIA Charts this week?

Here are some of the likely debutants and movers.

The legendary Paul Kelly will be aiming for his second #1 album with 24th studio album, Nature; Canberra band Hands Like Houses will be aiming for a second Top Ten with fourth album, Anon.; country singer-songwriter Morgan Evans could return to the chart for the first time since 2014 with Things That We Drink To; Migos member Quavo releases his debut solo album, Quavo Huncho; English singer-songwriter Jess Glynne could chart with second album, Always In Between.

This week’s Albums Chart could see moves by Powderfinger’s Internationalist (on the back of a 20th anniversary reissue), George Ezra’s Staying At Tamara's, Queen’s Greatest Hits, Tony Bennett & Diana Krall’s Love Is Here To Stay and more.

Little Mix release the first single from their forthcoming fifth album, LM5, the Nicki Minaj-featured track ‘Woman Like Me’; American rapper Kodak Black could take out a second chart entry with ‘Zeze’; Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny could make his debut chart appearance as a lead artist with the Drake-featured track ‘Mia’; Charli XCX  and Troye Sivan join forces for the track ‘1999’.

Watch out for jumps up this week’s Singles Chart by, amongst others, Rita Ora’s ‘Let You Love Me’, DJ Snake’s ‘Taki Taki’, Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s ‘Shallow’ and Morgan Evans’ ‘Day Drunk’.
