WHO'LL TOP THIS WEEK'S ARIA CHARTS?

December 19, 2018

New releases come from Bruce Springsteen, The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, Zayn and more.

No change again to the #1s on the ARIA Charts last week with Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next holding the top spot on the Singles Chart for a fifth week and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's soundtrack to A Star Is Born hitting its eighth consecutive week at #1 on the Albums Chart.

Who could we see hitting the top spots on the ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the potential debutants and movers we could see this week.

ALBUMS

Springsteen on Broadway, the new album of music and stories by Bruce Springsteen, and the soundtrack to the Netflix film of the same name could debut high on this week’s ARIA Albums Chart; the Official Soundtrack Album for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is looking very likely to debut in the top 50 this week. ZAYN releases his second studio album Icarus Falls, which follows up his #1 ARIA Albums Chart Debut Mind Of Mine.

Look out for jumps up the Albums Chart this week by Samantha Jade’s The Magic Of Christmas, Elvis Presley’s Christmas with Elvis and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Triple J’s Like A Virgin 14 and more.

SINGLES

American singer, songwriter Ariana Grande could pick up another two Top 50 entries this week with Imagine and Santa Baby; Khalid could also hit the Top 50 again with Saturday Nights.

This week’s Singles Chart could include moves by Post Malone & Swae Lee’s Sunflower, Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You, Wham’s Last Christmas and Band Aid 30’s Do They Know It’s Christmas.

Find out where your favourite artists placed when this week’s ARIA Charts are revealed at 5pm on Saturday.
