Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours

Melbourne band Cut Copy hit #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for one week in 2008 with their second album, In Ghost Colours. After debuting in the top spot, the follow-up to 2004’s Bright Like Neon Love spent a total of four weeks in the Top Ten and seven weeks in the Top 50.

Receiving a Gold accreditation, In Ghost Colours was nominated for Best Dance Release at the 2008 ARIA Awards.

Cut Copy followed In Ghost Colours with Zonoscope (#3 Feb. ’11). Their most recent Albums Chart entry was with Free Your Mind (#19 Nov. ’13). In 2017, they released fifth album, Haiku From Zero.


Flo Rida Feat. T-Pain Low

American rapper Flo Rida took out the first of his four #1s to date on the ARIA Singles Chart when ‘Low’ held the top spot for three weeks in March/April 2008. Coming from his debut album, Mail On Sunday (#21 Aug. ’08), the single debuted at #12 at the start of February before hitting #1 for the first time in its eight week in the Top 50. ‘Low’ went on to spend a total of 19 weeks in the Top Ten and 38 weeks in the Top 50.

‘Low’ was #1 on the 2008 ARIA End Of Year Singles Chart. It was accredited 3x Platinum.

Flo Rida has since topped the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Right Round’ (#1 Feb. ’09), ‘Wild Ones’ (#1 Jan. ’12) and ‘Whistle’ (#1 May ’12). His most recent Top Ten appearance was with ‘My House’ (#6 Mar. ’16).
